How wonderful life is

Stella was 4 months old yesterday...how time flies!
There's a song. It's called 'Your song', by Elton John. It's one of my all-time favorites, and it makes me think of Stella every time I hear it. The chorus goes a little something like this:
"I hope you dont mind....
I hope you don't mind, that I put down in words,
how wonderful life is,
now you're in the world!"

Chatting to cousin Owen at the airport.

It's always fun at Noa's house...look at all these toys!

We tried out Marlize's bumbo the other day. Could this mean she's ready for solids?!

Mom is on holiday in England visiting the Roets', so I'm doing her swimming lessons for her while she's gone. I was a bit worried about how I was going to juggle Stella and the swimmers at the same time....

But she seems quite happy next to the pool!

Wonder what she's thinking with this as her view.....?

100 일 축하해, 스텔라 예린아!

This post is very late, but better late than never, I say!
Stella turned 100 days on the 7th of August. We spent the day with the Butlers, I baked some cup cakes and we planted Stelli's feet in some clay to save (thanks Faye). The only thing missing was Daddy!

Cup cakes - not very good, but I have lots of time to practice before her 1st birthday rolls around!

Footprints.....she has the fattest little feet! She was wriggling so much too it was hard to get a clear print.

Mommy loves baby xxx

Phew, it's exhausting being 100 days old ;)

Hey Doll

I think one of the best things about having a girl must be dressing them up!

We can't wait for summer!! And the World Cup!

It's all happening in week 14

Stella has had an exciting, eventful week! Especially with Kel around to entertain her.
Here are a few things that went down this week:

1. Her vomiting (which got quite bad), became a bit better this week, so I think maybe it was just the vaccinations that had upset her.

2. She started babbling, gurgling and blowing bubbles - soooooooo cute! She had a full-on conversation with Kel, spoke to Aunty Bridgie, the lady in the bank and all the tellers at Ackermans! This morning she and I were blowing bubbles back and forth at each other while listening to Jack Johnson, which she loved ;)

3. She sat all on her own! Ok, it was just for a few seconds, but still, she did it, and I have the proof ~

4. After not sleeping for 2 months, she is finally sleeping well at night. It started in Natal, and now she only wakes up once for a feed during the night and again at 6 or 7 for breakfast. I couldn't resist bringing her into my bed this (cold) morning at 5 for a little cuddle ♥

I can't believe Stella is growing up so quickly. Dr Kuhn said I should start feeding her rice porridge already because it will help with the reflux, but I'm not so keen just yet. But I can't put it off for much longer...she's almost 4 months already!
Actually, she's 100 days old tomorrow, which is a big anniversary in Korea. Very sad Daddy will be missing it!

Snap shots

Since my camera is broken, I haven't been able to take as many photos. I'm going to have to do something about that! I have been snapping away with my cell phone though, and here are a few goodies...

Worried...Uncle Dingy and Stella watching the Boks play the All Blacks

Little Gunners fan-in-the-making. Suite sent from Nicholas, and worn with much pride ;)

Streeeeeetch (why must you do this when I'm sleeping??)

Finally! Enjoying some sunshine outdoors

Testing out Noa's chair

Having a beautiful nap on Uncle Clayton's belly. He's getting good practice for when baby Butler arrives in about 4 weeks!

Janine has also taken some gorgeous pics with her stunning new camera (*very jealous). I'll do a post with those soon.

***A year ago, I would never have imagined being a mom so soon. Now I can't imagine being anything else. There are no words to describe how much I love this little girl who has become the light of my life! I look forward to every adventure we'll embark on together...it's going to be one awesome ride!
