Vegetables

The library organised for some of the kiddies from the play groups to come and 'raid' the vegetable garden, on the roof of the library building.

The kids had great fun collecting tomatoes...

All the ripe ones gone!
Green chillis...

Peppers...

Purple lettuce...

...and there were even flowers too!

And afterwards we all went down-stairs for a delicious feast.
And on Thursday they took us on an outing into Seoul.
And today Monsoon season started...as much as I love the rain, a whole month of it is too much...SO don't know how much we'll be able to do over the next month :(
AND I've started a TEFL course, in preparation for going back to work next year, so things are busy at the moment!

Picmonkey

After Picnic closed down, I was heartbroken. But I'm ecstatic about the new photo-editing website Picmonkey, which is kind of replacing Picnic (thanks Janine, for discovering it!). I've already been having lots of fun playing around with it. I love how much you can do with your photos!

Old favourites

We went to hang out in Manseok Park in Suwon where I used to live. I spent a lot of time in that park, exercising, watching World Cup matches, or simply just relaxing. It reminded me of how much I love Suwon and how much I wish we could live there again!

SY and Stella checking out what's going on at the stage.

Mouse, off exploring...

Baking

I baked some cookies today and Stella helped me...

............!!

I may just wait a leeeeetle while before I let her help me again :)

Coolest thing ever...

Korea has pretty cool stuff for kids. I wish I could do a whole post on that, but for now, this is just about the coolest thing I've ever seen...

It was at a water park we went to, but it was inside at the kids' 'dry' area - a dinosaur climbing wall!

If I was small enough, I would have gotten up there myself ;)

I want one!!

Okgu Park

We went to Okgu Park on Sunday for a picnic. It's probably on of my favourite parks in Korea...sometimes I can't believe we have it right here in our funny little town. It's very big, and has loads of stimulation for adults and kids alike. There is even a huge circular cage that has chickens, ducks, rabbits, turkeys, guinea fowl and even peacocks in it!! And there's a little hill you can climb which has breath-taking views of the west sea with all it's little islands.

Daddy took a nap while Stel and I climbed the hill!

A rare view of some undeveloped land near Incheon.....

The 'animal cage'...I'm sure there's a name for this kind of enclosure, but don't ask me what it is!

An attempt at a panoramic view from the top of the hill...much more beautiful in person.
