News from week 22

After a month on pap, Stella has started with veggies. She had butternut first, followed by carrots, and she absolutely loves it! She's actually a really good eater and will devour just about anything I put in her mouth. She especially loves sucking my banana!!!


She's getting a little more steady on her bum...


So cute when she hangs onto her toes :) Still not agile enough to stick them in her mouth though.


She can even hold her sippy cup now!

Chicken Run

While DJ and the girls have been on holdiay visiting Gal & Sanette in East London, it has been Stella's & my duty to feed the chickens, pigs and ducks every day. She's totally curious about the whole business and I think she loved it! We're so happy they are coming home tomorrow, but I hope they'll still let us feed the animals every now and then!
These chickens are a hungry bunch!

Photoshop

I discovered a Photoshop program on my computer the other day (after all this time!!). Janine has played around with it a bit, and I just spent about 10 minutes testing it out tonight and managed to do this:




I can't wait to play around some more!

Hang Ten

Stella's been finding her feet lately. Most of the time she just gets to her knees though...I'm sure she'll be sucking her toes as soon as she can! Gogo bought her some teething biscuits and she can't get enough of them. I'm glad :) I prefer them to all the other things she's been sticking in her mouth!
