28
I turned 28 last Friday! I can't believe I'm 2 years away from being 30...Scary thought.
It was a great birthday. As always, I got spoilt by everyone at home. Especially Mom, who sent me off to the salon at lunch for a pampering, and spent all day in the kitchen preparing snacks and food for our braai on Friday night. Birthdays at home are the best, where it really feels like it's your birthday :)
Celebrating with old friends
Stella getting some vitamin D
Coincidentally I happened to be 28 weeks pregnant at the same time! Janine took some great photos of my bulging belly, and had fun editing them afterwards too! Thanks Janine :) I know where I'm going for all my photo shoots in future - she did a great job!

The latest
We took Mom and Uncle Andre to the Taungs dam on Sunday to have a warm-up swim for Midmar which is coming up this weekend. They have a good time, and we got to see the wall flowing over after all the rain last month. I suspect we are in for lots more this Feb...

Congratulations to Colleen, James and Troy on the safe arrival of little Owen Carl this morning. I'm sure they are all very happy to have him here at last. Can't wait to meet the little fella :)
Stella, btw, was sending me into continual panic mode due to her irregular movements up until Sunday. Then on Monday she started to go wild like a circus clown, and now she wont stop! I love it....love watching all the weird shapes my tummy morphs into when she's at it. It must be one of the most simple, yet most amazing things!

Baby Update!
I guess this is the first time I'm officially mentioning my pregnancy on the blog...It had to be done, since very soon this will become more about Stella than about me! Oh, yes, I'm having a little girl. And her name has already stuck with everyone. If Sangyeon and I had any ideas of changing her name it would confuse a lot of people, e.g. Noa, who talks about (and to) Stella everyday. She's very cute, patting and rubbing my tummy and always asking "When are we going to the hospital so we can take Stella out of your tummy?". Well, for now, I'm quite enjoying having her in my tummy, so no rush!
Taken at about 25 weeks
I'm already 6+ months along, or 27 weeks to be exact. Stella is expected around the 10-12 May...I can't believe I only have 3 months left! It's hard to think that in such a short time, I'll be a mommy and I'll have a little life in my hands - amazing!
Our precious little thing at 23 and a half weeks
I'm missing Korea a lot, but especially Sangyeon. I only wish that he could have gone through this experience with me. I can't wait til he gets here in May!
